These terms cover your use of the FretScore website and the FretScore desktop app. By subscribing or using the app you agree to them.

Who we are

FretScore is a trading name of Nahian Rahman, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, of 736-740 Romford Road, London E12 6BT, United Kingdom. You can contact us at team@fretscore.com.

Payments are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy, who also handle billing, invoices and sales tax.

The product

FretScore is a desktop app that sits on top of a video call and writes guitar tab and chord names while a teacher plays. It is sold as a subscription for £5 per month.

Your subscription

Your subscription renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the link in your receipt email or by emailing us. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for, and you will not be charged again.

If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the change applies to you.

Your licence

While your subscription is active, you may install and use FretScore on your own computers for teaching and learning. You may not resell it, share your licence, or try to reverse engineer it.

Acceptable use

Only use FretScore on calls where you have the right to do so, and follow the rules of the video call service you use.

The software is provided as is

We work hard to make FretScore accurate, but transcription will sometimes be wrong. FretScore is provided "as is" and we do not promise it will be error free or always available. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Our liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.

Ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously break these terms. If we stop offering FretScore, we will refund any unused part of your current month.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will post the new version here. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
